The Brief

The client wanted an industrial style office whilst still being modern and inviting.   The office is based in Hove near the seafront, and has fantastic views of the sea, especially through the porthole style window at one end of the office.  Office Profile pitched against three other companies and won by emphasising the quality of our design and build solution.

To facilitate the industrial look, we removed the suspended ceiling and exposed the concrete and HVAC above.  We then installed a suspended feature lighting design that efficiently illuminates the spacious office. An interesting design feature of the original buildings angled windows.

In the main working area of the office we supplied space effective white bench desking with cable trays, paired with black operator chairs. New carpet tiling was fitted, including a red ‘walkway’ design feature which leads from the kitchen / breakout area to the other end of the office.

What we did

The meeting room features a large walnut boardroom table surrounded by faux leather chairs. The glass facing the main office area has manifestation of the William Alexander logo along with their ethos. At the other end of the office is a generously sized kitchen and breakout area. The kitchen features a striking red splashback and a picnic style bench is available for staff to eat at or relax. A pool table (with red felt to match their brand colours) can be used for some friendly office competition. As part of the client brief we installed a shower cubicle for the convenience of the staff that cycle to work, as well as the design and installation of a new air conditioning system to keep the office cool and comfortable.

William Alexander’s staff include Rudey the Labradoodle who roams the office and greets visitors on their arrival. He can be see hard at work, overseeing the office and watching out for treats.

A big thank you from the Office Profile team to Colin Dymond (Project Manager) who ensured work was completed on time and on budget.

Office Profile impressed us from the first meeting. Your low pressure sales approach, the way you listened to our original brief and the quality of the design solution you presented was far superior to any of the other suppliers at a comparable price.
